Maintaining Dentures

From Our Patients

I’m truly impressed! This was my second visit for a dental cleaning, and just like the first time, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in until I left. However, they exceeded my expectations when I returned with my kids. The work culture here is remarkable—highly professional and filled with experts who genuinely care about their patients.

I’ve been to many dental clinics, but this is the first one that provided such a thorough explanation regarding my concerns. The hygienist even gave me a helpful tip on flossing and brushing, considering my small mouth, to ensure I can clean the back of my teeth properly. Not only am I completely satisfied, but for the first time in a long while, I actually enjoyed a dental visit -Jo Bo

We won’t lie: dentures can take a lot of effort. However, the benefits really are worth it. Here are some tips on treating dentures.

Once you’ve received dentures, you’ll be able to speak properly and chew food again, and your smile will be full again. To preserve your regained dental health, ensure that you keep your false teeth and take a few other oral hygiene precautions every day. Of course it’s imperative that you remember to wash your false teeth with clean water after chomping with them. Handle them gently to prevent bending, chipping or breaking them. And before and after donning the false teeth, make sure to use a toothbrush or some dental gauze to clean your mouth.

Avoiding tooth loss can help you save your smile, preserve your ability to speak and chew suitably and avoid the need for dentures. There are some tiny steps you can follow to keep your teeth solid, and the tiny effort needed to do them will do a world of good for your dental health. First, ensure you are brushing your chompers two times a day. Second, floss at least once a day. Finally, ensure to see our office for a visit at least once every half of a year. Together, these steps will keep your oral cavity healthy and your smile bright.
